o, I FINALLY got two games in (first time playing in months), and we were presented with an interesting question: how does Support Ship factor into the removal of the final token removed by weapons ports?

The Federation player read it thusly: 2 hits and 1 crit, uncancelled, force him to remove his last two tokens. Then, after damage is totalled, he discards Support Ship and keeps his last token. Fighters survive, and live on to fight another day.

Ferengi player's interpritation: The 2 hits and 1 crit are uncanceled. First hit removed the second to last token, second hit removes the last token, but instead of discarding the token, you discard the Support Ship, then the Crit removes the last Token.

So, who is right, and who is dead?

I haven't seen anything from WK on these two interacting and Weapon Ports is the first card of its type. How I see it the Support Ship isn't an "automatic keep your ship alive". It does exactly what it says you discard the card instead of you last token. So in your example I would say the Ferengi is correct.

That's how I see it. Though until WK rules, it would be for each TO to decide for themselves.

Thats How it looks to me. Because each token is removed by a single hit or crit, the support ship essentially acts as an additional token.
