Hi all,

it drives me up the wall that every codex is laid out differently, with special rules and wargear descriptions separate to points costs and in different parts of the book in different codices!

However, I have an urgent rule need with Dark Angels (digital edition). Some of the units have special rules such as Inner Circle and Deathwing or the Raven Sword. What page are the rules for these on?

EDIT:
So p230 says that Deathwing is described in the 40k rulebook, which is fine, except it's not in there at all.
And what about the wargear! Damn you, codex!

I cannot give you an exact page number, but they should be on the first page of the appendix, after all the datasheets.

If it is a unique item, it should be on the datasheet of the unit that has it.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

That's what I thought, but there's nothing except 'fluff' descriptions of the wargear. I can find points costs and fluff, but no rules! They're nowhere in the book! I looked at the datasheets but some of the wargear have no rules whatsoever!

Don't you have to press the item description in digital editions for a pop up window with the rules ?

You might try clicking on the rule/wargear in question. I don't own any digi-dexes though.
