Without knowing the details of it, it sounds like a typical Ultramarine love fest.
This story was originally written in 4th ed codex but has to my knowledge never been truly covered. Originally it said that he could predict the movements of the tyranids so well that it would seem as if he had tapped into the hivemind. Take into account that he'd been doing the exact same thing with orks for a long time so it's possible he's just really good at divination. In a picture he's seen doing some psychic stuff to a dead/near dead big tyranid so I guess he could be using telepathy on higher organisms, such as the norn queens, instead of facing off directly against the hivemind. Nevertheless he's a powerfull psyker and a cunning bastard.
The Eisenhorn and Ravenor novels have some impressive psychic battles in them. Whilst not strictly a psyker vs psyker battle I'm gonna go with a short story of a Nurgle greater deamon, space marine and sister of battle. The space marine faces of against the greater deamon and holds his ground while the sister provides support. The greater deamon is impressed by their deeds and ask for their names. The space marine loudly proclaims his name while the sister answers that she will not give her name to such filth. The Demon then attempts to posses the space marine and, due to knowing his name, it succeds. The space marine has inhuman willpower but the deamon is stronger. The now chaos space marine wrecks the sister and wanders of to eventually become a champion of nurgle. Thus begins the tale of how the sister recovers and dedicates her life to hunting down this marine, eventually facing of with him many years later when she's risen to the rank of canoneess.
