A friend of mine is interested in beginning with miniature gaming and 40K, and has shown interest in the Nurgle demons and specifically Chaos Space Marines "plague marines"
I don't know much about either the demons nor the chaos space marines and therefore want to ask for advice how he should proceed if he wants to join us and start collecting an army.

What do you recommend for a Daemon/Chaos Space Marine "starter force" with a focus on Nurgle and Plague Marines that he can try out before expanding?

Army List? Detachment? Formations? Models? Other tips?

-Plague marines

Then, it depends if he wants a deamon prince or not. If he does, he could buy belakor or a deamon prince of nurgle. Moreover, he will need transport for his infantry. By the way, if you need some exemples, you can check all the lists made on the 40k list review section.
