Hey everyone! I am going into a tournament in about 3 months and I am trying to make an amazing Eldar army list. This is the army list I was thinking of putting in so far what do you guys think.

Guardian Battle host:
Farseer
Vyper: w/ shuriken cannon
Support battery x3: D cannons with warlock
War walkers x3: double scatter lasers
Guardians x3 all with free Eldar middle launchers

Aspect host:
6 dark reapers w/ starshot and exarch w/ starshot
8 warp spiders with exarch
5dire avengers with exarch

Combined arms:
Farseer
Skyrunner farseer

6 rangers
4wind riders all w/ scatter lasers
5 wind riders all w/ scatter lasers

First off, my immediate suggestions (with the units you have) would be to remove the dire avenger unit and use 2 5 man units of warp spiders, I'd recommend a tempest launcher for the dark reaper exarch as well as reducing their number to 5

Reduce your windrider squads to 3 so you can fit in 3 units rather than 2 - (it helps with moral as well since they cannot be reduced below 25%)

I'd be tempted to remove the rangers and throw in another 3 man bike unit with Scatter lasers...

I'm not sure what the walking farseer in the CAD is for...

Thats all I can think of for optimizing what you have at the moment, and there are a ton of issues still with the list.

- You need some more anti tank units (a unit of AP3 dark reapers and a short ranged D platform are not enough)

- You need an answer for flyers, 3 EML's from the guardians isn't enough

- You seem to be a little light on the high strength RoF weapons, (36-S6 13-S5 shots are not scary) they are useful for cracking open battle company transports, dealing with flyers in a pintch and removing infantry...


So to end with:

- You're running a battlehost, that 6" run really helps Warp Spiders and Swooping Hawks, use them to cover some of your RoF/anti tank problems

- Fire Dragons in a cloudstrike squadron of Falcons could really help your anti tank issues whilst providing a lot of high strength firepower

- Pulse laser Hornets would plug up the gap for anti tank / High RoF weapons

- More bikes always helps as a generalist unit

- A wraithknight would help with table control (equipment subject to ruleset used)

This is all good stuff! The Farseer on the ground I put in the group of Rangers and toss them in some cover so they have a nice cover save and I do have a wraithknight I could put in there, I also have swooping Hawks and more warp spiders on order and I have a 10 man squad of fire dragons I could toss in my falcon, I'll mess around with my list with your suggestions and test it out!
