Lovely work escpecially the coach. The brown horse looks like it could use a few more layers though, in the first picture, the brown looks a bit flat. Did you free hand the workings on the coach?

It's fine in the hand. This is a personal piece so I'm deliberately practicing faster methods. Yes, the lettering is all freehand,

The coach itself is a prepainted 4ground kit, with minor touch ups. Don't think I spent more than about 12-15 hours total from box to done. Quite a fiddly build, more parts than you'd think. Also had to repair that brown horse a couple of times and do some filler work on the horses - the metal used for these was sub-par, 'gritty' stuff, meaning the casting wasn't great, and they were quite brittle. Should be OK now they're all based up.

The set is from Great Escape Games - 4ground coach, Crusader Miniatures horses, GEG passengers and crew. Retails for £24 (and if you shop around with discounters you can get it for less) so it's not exactly expensive for what you get.
