Hi all! Since i have a problem with NOT collecting tons of armies I was curious for outside opinions: Should I go Night Lords or Sons of Horus/Luna Wolves as my DG's buddies?

Night Lords - While I love their fluff, there's already 2 other local players going Night Lords and their paint scheme looks like it would scare me more than anything (I'm not the best when it comes to free hand work )
Sons of Horus - There is only 1 player locally, and he plays specifically the 1st company, so going this route would work pretty well for me imo.
Other Legions - I'm open to any other legions as I play my DG both as Traitors and Loyalists (depending on who I field as my HQ ) These 2 just come to mind as they are battle bro's! It should also be pointed out that I have my Solar Auxilia and Thousand Sons as well.

the only problem is I have no idea how I would build up these forces as the most I know is that both of them were rather fast, CC focused armies, any tips and opinions?

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

I have a DG friend locally who I have faced many times, but our armies also work very well together.

Word Bearers contribute with melee prowess and the Death Guard with long-range attacks. My Mhara Gal and his DG Leviathan make for an amazing tag-team (the Leviathan tanks everything while the MG advances through LOS-blocking terrain, and both together can kill even Primarch blobs very quickly).

Word Bearers can sit on objectives very well - getting them off is easier said than done - and DG can blast the enemy off theirs.
