Hi all

Just wondering how many active SCAdians are on this board, who are also active in miniatures wargaming? It would be a cool community-building thing, I think, for some of us heavy fighters (or fencers, or A&S folks) who maybe don't connect too much at fighting events, to get together over some miniatures games.

For the record, I fight out of Settmour Swamp, in the Kingdom of The East (Boonton, NJ), and am a member of The CDIV (The 404). There are several great game stores nearby, and I think it would be cool to meet some new SCAdians over some Warmachine/Hordes, AOS, Malifaux, or 40K.

The object of a game is to win. The *point* of a game is to have fun. Never confuse the two.

I'm in Lochac (Australia) and there's a fair amount of overlap. I'd think you'd have more luck on your local list than on here, though.

In my immediate area, there aren't that many folks who are active in both. There's a lot of "I played back in second edition 40k, but haven't played since", that sort of thing.
