Tough meta RT tourney, with ITC rules.

I have Hawks, but this list is without, unless my TO rules the GW 1st Draft grenade FAQ as stupid.

Farseer - bike

x3 Scat bike, with Warlock (gonna need the Conceal/Reveal for removing Cover)
x3 Scat bike
x3 Scat bike

WK - Sword and Board

Aspect Host
x5 Spiders, with Ex
x5 Spiders, with Ex

1333 at the moment.

I own two more bikes that can be Warlocks, joining Scat-crews. I have Hawks and Reapers and other eldar detritus. An Autarch Spider could be added, with a little re-arranging of the unit who'd lose their exarch to promotion.

Then again, I could add Warlock footers, who Move, cast powers, and then Battle Focus or Run back into hiding.
...
Okay, maybe sounds only cool here on dakka.

List two:

Farseer - bike

x3 Scat bike

Aspect Host
x9 Spiders, including Ex

Fortification
Ammo Dump (page 109, BRB)

Tide Wing
Riptide - EWO, Stims, Burst Can
Riptide - EWO, Stims, Burst Can
Riptide - EWO, Stims, Burst Can

1500 on the dot.

I think list 2 might play faster, which I, as a player, I have issues achieving ... I play slower than old people fornicating.

I like the first list and the idea f adding the Autarch could be very useful indeed with that reserve manipulation. Thats what I would go with, give him the Warp Jump Gen and a Fusion Gun.

Is t the ammo dump an upgrade rather than a fortification of TS own?

Good point. I reread the rules; it is an upgrade, so I'd have to dig up 3 dozen points for an ADL.

Just shed some of those spiders. The units seem a bit large and unweildy to me..

Yer right, in that they're big, but I've been fielding them (against the grain of popular meta) as big, fatty units to BE big, fatty units. I rarely Deep Strike them, usually having range on Turn 1. And 9 shooters packs quite a wallop. They also have the advantage of a large foot-print unit for board/field control.

9 dudes also helps in the Kill Point missions. In the non-Trip-Tide list, my MSU becomes a liability for that Round in the tourney.

As I just purchased another 10, bringing my grand total to 40 models (gonna take a while to paint 'em) . It's gonna be an adjustment to refigure how to use them with the finesse a smaller unit needs. Then again, screw it, maybe I'll just keep fielding them as full size.

I just ran a 1500 point list and got to try three games this weekend. I wanted to see if Warp Spiders were as good as folks were touting (answer: they are). I was extemely pleased with how it ran. I could lose the Shuriken Cannons off the one squad, but I had 30 points left and did not have 3 more Scatbikes (WYSIWYG reasons). My intent was to have another option to have AP2 shooting in my army, but it was relatively a non factor.

If you do not own the Doom of Mymeara 2nd edition FW book, I highly recommend it for any Eldar player (assuming FW is allowed in your local meta).

CAD
Farseer, Skyrunner, Spirit Stone
3 x 3 Scatbikes
1 x 3 Windriders w/ Shuriken Cannon
2 x 1 Warp Hunter, Holofield
Skathach Wraithknight, Deathshround Cannon, Scatterlaser, Scatterfield

Aspect Host
3 x 5 Warp Spiders (including Exarch)

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Considering you have bought more spiders, here's what I would suggest...

Pale Courts Battlehost
Autarch Fusion gun, Warp jump Generator, Scorpion Chainsaber
Warp Spiders (5) Exarch
Warp Spiders (5) Exarch
Warp Spiders (5) Exarch
Aspect Host
Warp Spiders (7) Exarch
Warp Spiders (7) Exarch
Warp Spiders (7) Exarch
Wraith Construct
Wraithknight Ghost Glaive, Scattershield
Eldar CAD
Farseer Singing Spear
Windrider Guardians (3) Scatterlasers
Windrider Guardians (3) Scatterlasers
Windrider Guardians (3) Scatterlasers

If you were going to run this wouldn't you better with no Pale Host and just two Aspect hosts. Yes, you lose the auto six inch run, but both sets of spiders get the +1 BS (which is more important IMHO)

I was going for the auto 6's for the runs, BS 5 on 3 units of spiders is great but I was going about it like this:

16" movement for the knight to set up for T2 charges and having all 36 Warp spiders have a guaranteed 2d6+6+6+2d6 movement for that extra kick in maelstrom games.
Or
15 more spiders gain the extra 16.7% bonus to hit rate from the increased ballistic skill..

From my own experience, I found their movement more useful in an objective based game but as they say 'your mileage may vary'.
