ok so im taking this is your first time posting a list on dakka dakka? if so then i forgive you for using battlescribe because this is near unreadable sorry.

but form what i got there are a lot of problems with this list.

1. whats so good about the pinion demi company is that they can come in with scouts and get ignore cover. so drop the drop pods. drop pods and heavy weapons do not make sense. you will be snapfiring and chances are that you will die before you get a good shot off. give your devs missile launchers and keep them in that back with one squad of scouts.

2. cluster mines are garbage. im sorry but they are very bad, drop them. and drop the locator beacon since you wont be needing that anymore. sniper rifles are not that good id rather have bolters instead. also the best scout squad configuration for me is camo cloaks and a heavy bolter. sit still and you get a 2+ cover save and slinging 3 str 5 ap 4 shots a turn which is not bad for the price

3. if you are planning to play aggressive with your army then drop the heavy weapons on the tacs and go with grav and melta

4. and the BIGGEST problem is that its not even a full raven guard force. you are missing you captain/ chaplain lol

overall there are some problems with the list but may i recommend a website to help you with you decisions?

go to frontlinegaming.com and go to tactics and scroll down to space marines they will teach you how to use the raven guard force. its a competitve guide, but it has some good stuff in there

That's a good call Frontline have great articles about the Ravenguard formations and detachment. I will be honest, fitting a full Talon strike force into 1500 points is a bit of a squeeze, that might be why you've left out the HQ.

Drop the vet squads down to five men each, and follow Omegas advice and you should definitely be able to fit in an HQ.

The ignores cover that the scout squads can give to other units is invaluable. Especially on the dev squads. So it's worth giving one of the scout squads a missile launcher as they will be stuck in the back field without range.

EDIT I've just noticed you actually have Shrike as your HQ. Can't say I've ever played him, but vow the points cost, you might be better off equipping a chapter master with murder and Swiftstrike. That way you can get a lovely ignores cover orbital bombardment (if you keep your HQ near scouts) and the murder Swiftstrike wargear is brutal. Otherwise just get a chaplain to drop in with your assault marines to give them rerolls in close combat.
