Hello all,

I've begun working on my Dark Angels army and decided to throw together a Lion's Blade Strike Force using a full battle company. I'd like to make a take all comers' style list for both casual and tournaments alongside figuring out what I should and shouldn't invest in for future purchases. I haven't decided if I want to take the veterans as an alpha strike option but don't know what else to take instead otherwise. As of right now, the master and chaplain can really go almost anywhere and still be effective but I was thinking of putting at least the master in with the vets.

i think that you should go all out on the alpha strike for the veterans, i would drop the plasma in the list because grav is just so much better. i would drop all the combi stuff and beef out the grav cannons. then i would drop one razorback and get a drop pod instead that way you choose to drop the veterans turn one or 2. or you could do what i really wanted to do:

1. take all drop pods and skyhammer annihilation force for the ultimate alpha strike (drop the ravenwing for scouts)

2. lose the vets and the combi guns and the ravenwing attack squad and put scouts and a knight

oh and drop the jump packs and get rhinos for the assualt squad so you can play them recklessly to get objectives
