Just got an order from Black Library in the post today and there was an insert advertising "Warhammer Art". I hadn't heard of this entity before, so I thought I'd pass on the information for those interested. Here's the site: https://warhammerart.com/
Nice variety of pieces from the GW archives. Everything, at the moment seems to be WH40K oriented, but as they mention on the site under "Who we are", they'll be curating more work and collections over time. Great way to spruce up that Game Room.

Warhammer Art at Warhammer prices. That's a nice way to try and make some more money off classic GW art.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Only GW could look at their vast archives of released and unreleased artworks and concept art, then at the constant demands my their core audience to be able to access that art and think to themselves "expensive limited-edition prints of single images"

Well to be fair they probably don't own enough of the rights to many of the earlier works to actually use them for anything new (as was shown during the chaterhouse case) so we're never going to be able to get hold of them unless they directly re-release some of the original books
as it is cheaper stuff would be welcome, but at lease some people will be able to pick up stuff that they want

Since they first started making these, I've wanted them as posters to frame...

It's not even about the price alone though, it's about it being a pretty daft format(and the price). Chapterhouse or no, they're sitting on an absolute mountain of artwork that could fill a dozen big coffee-table artbooks, not to mention the vast archive of unreleased concept art(how many Blanche fans who're not his special INQ28 gaming pals would love to get a look at his concept books? Even a curated selection would sell like hotcakes I expect). Once again it's GW choosing to sell a handful of expensive items to the same handful of customers while ignoring a potential use of the same material that would make them as much if not more money and reach a wider audience.
It's all very well for folk to talk about it being good business to make as much money with as little effort and risk as possible, but at some point GW are going to have to stop living off the work they did to grow their audience more than a decade ago and realise they can't maintain a multi-million revenue company by milking the same 500 wealthy superfans over and over again while treating the rest of their fanbase like peasants on the rare occasions they deign to notice them at all.

Oh i'd certainly love some non limited art books
I've got the early GW ones like Ratspike etc, but sadly for GW they all of them didn't sell well at the time and were reduced and sold off very cheap when GW still ran instore sales (which is why young me could get hold of them)
but I certainly think it would be worth a try even if they only order a short run to start with and only printing more if they needed them like codexes
