What are the best weapons for crisis suits if you use them as anti tank? I play space wolves. And necrons a lot, any help there for my new suits?

Against Space Wolves and Necrons, you don't need a lot of antitank. That being said, the best antitank weapon Tau have is probably the Fusion Blaster. Basically an 18-inch-range meltagun. 9 inches if you want the 2d6 for armor penetration. I sometimes take a single suit with 2 fusion blasters and deep strike it close to enemy armor. Sometimes it works, sometimes my die rolls are crappy and he fails spectacularly.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

Fusion blasters and missiles are our antitank stuff. Fusion are for suicide suits. They're both pretty good, though You need to ask what kind of beasts your hunting to decide which is better. Missile pods can glance to death and have double the range of fusion, but fusion can pop armor 13 and glance 14 as well as explode stuff. Fusion are good against av13-14 and missile pods are typically better at smaller things. You've also cyclic ion blasters which are basically missile pods with half range and an extra shot. they're also good at killing small guys. They're a very good multitasking gun.

Really, it comes down to play style and what you've already got. I personally would suggest fusion if you've already got missile broadsides. If you don't have missile broadsides, then... Why don't you have missile broadsides?

Fusion Blasters are our dedicated anti-tank. Coupled with a buffmander they can be pretty devastating if they come in with a Retaliation Cadre. As others have said missile pods are a great choice for best generic XV8 weapon since they wound so much and have such great range. For high av bring some Fusion Suits though. High Yield Missile Pod Broadsides also work in tandem with all of this.

If they are bringing tanks the Stormsurge can also be useful for taking them down.

For deep striking crisis suits its hard to go wrong with Fusion Blasters for popping basically any type of vehicle while Cyclic Ion Blasters are quite good at spamming Str 7 shooting. Personally I don't like Missile Pods on crisis suits as Boardsides can bring more missile pod type shots on a more cost effective (and durable) platform while CIBs make the trade off of range for volume of fire which crisis suits are good at maximizing with deep striking.

Fusiuon Blasters for the heavy stuff, Missile Pods/Cyclic Ion Blaster or Optimised Stealth Cadre for the light stuff

OSC works wonders against Necrons. Quantum Shielding? What's that? hehe

I miss rail weapons being the premiere anti tank weapons in the codex, and amongst the best in the game. Starry eyed nostalgia.
