Hi Dakka-ites,

I'm in the market for some square bases that look like stereotypical dungeon flagstone/cobblestone. I'm only interested in very thin bases, like 1.5-2mm. Something like Mantic's bases for their Dungeon Saga game, but half the thickness. I typically get my bases from Litko (http://www.litko.net/), but I don't find any "scenic" bases there. And out there on the internets, I see mostly round bases, mostly thick bases.

So I turn to your expertise here, o grand gurus of all things toy soldiers. Any suggestions? I'm US based, and would like to avoid a long wait/high shipping rates if possible, but am very curious to hear what y'all might suggest.

Thanks in advance!

These guys have really nice dungeon stuff and some bases, not sure if they have the exact one you want but they are thin.

That thin? Best bet is probably making your own from textured plasticard. This stuff is ideal for what you're describing:

honestly, I'd stick with plasticard and make your own, you don't even need textured plasticard unless you're really wanting it: just cut bits out and glue them on top of the base, prime and paint. (Almost) instant cobblestone.

This is a great guide Sperian on MWG put together: http://www.miniwargaming.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=116206#p1042054 even if you don't end up using it, it's a great read
