Hey there! There has been a lot of talk about the Tetrad, and a few of us wrote up
an article giving you tons of information on playing them. A lot of the points I'm going to bring up are described in detail in the article. I've got over 20 games with a tetrad under my belt, including 2
RTTs and 1
GT.

He should always be the warlord. The benefits are far to strong for him not to be. Take a lesser reward for the staff, as it will give him +2
STR, making him
STR 9 vs targets.
Consider armor on this guy. The nurgle prince can jink for a 2+ naturally, but this prince is your 'weakest link'. Armor helps fix that.
Don't bother with skullreaver. In the article linked above I go into more detail on this, but the axe of khorne will do as good or better for cheaper in 96% of cases. It also lets you take the armor of skorn for 10 more points than warp forged armor. That's 10 points for Adamantite Will and effectively +1 toughness. Yes, please.

I suggest dropping the exalted here and grabbing two greaters. This lets you get the balesword, which is pretty boss. Find another way to grab a grimore or just leave it -- as you should not be needed it anyway.
When playing a tetrad, you will be starved for warp dice, as they need them all for self-buffing. Fatey get MUCH better the more dice you feed him, so he will be taking dice from the tetrad. If you are looking for something to add to the tetrad, look at Be'lakor -- who can give them all shrouding.
Not a bad call. What do you plan on summoning? He and the horrors will make 5 dice, which you can use every turn to make new models.

If you have shrouding up, you will be jinking on a 2+ anyway. If you are facing a shooty deathstar, they will just target something not grimoir'ed. The Grimore is just not as bad ass in this case.
Trust me when I say this is a bad use for him. You want the slaanesh prince killing 1 squad per turn with the rest of your guys. Lash is very underwhelming. Seven
STR 7,
AP- hits will kill ~2
MEQ a turn. In assault, the prince is killing a lot more.

As mentioned an Axe of Khorne is just as effective against knights. The balesword on nurgle prince also helps greatly here, as all those hits are
ID. If you got Iron Arm, they are wounding on a 2+ with a reroll.
The
STR 9 tzeentch prince can take down most armor, and he's what I throw at knights. The khorne prince really does well with the Axe of Khorne and Blade of Blood, and will rampage through enemy units. The nurgle prince is my
ID machine and is usually my MVP. The Slaanesh prince is more likely to get in than the other princes with fleet -- and don't forget the rending
HoW.
