I find myself a bit hesitant in deciding how to kit out my Space Wolf models.

I have some legacy marine models as well as the new 'Start Collecting Space Wolves' box set. My legacy marines are unpainted and have a random selection of weaponry which is mostly badly put together (this was many years ago...). My plan is to take apart the existing models and build and paint some new squads up. I have no plans to actually play the game in the near future but I'm not ruling it out so would like squads that are sensible and not just for aesthetics. I may magnetise backpacks but can't be bothered with weapon options. The models I have for squads are as follows:

- Grey hunter pack - 10 metal marines with limited replacement weapon options
- Start collecting pack - 10 plastic marines of any squad type
- Blood claw jump troops - 10 metal marines with limited replacement weapon options
- Captain model with the wolf helm (metal)

Assuming I can recover the weapons and build them up from the 'Start collecting' sprues, my plan is as follows:

- 6 Wolf Guard (from the plastics) with 3x combi meltas - not sure on the rest
- 5 Grey Hunters (metal or plastic) with chainswords and bolt pistols
- 5 Grey Hunters (metal or plastic) with bolters
- 2 Grey Hunters (metal or plastic) with plasma guns
- 1 Grey Hunter (metal or plastic) with meltagun (would take 3 meltas rather than the plasmas but definitely don't have the parts and the plasmas look quite cool )
- 1 Grey Hunter sarg (plastic) - [unknown loadout]
- 1 Grey Hunter sarg from the space wolf captain metal model with bolt pistol and chainsword (but open to conversion...)
- 10 bloodclaws with magnetised backpacks. No idea on loadout. The sarg has a powerfist as part of the metal model

The idea is that I could run the bloodclaws either with jump-packs or as normal marines with a sensible weapon loadout. I could run a squad of Wolf Guard on their own or have individuals leading packs of Grey Hunters. Max model utilisation would be:

- 1 squad 5 WG (2 combi meltas)
- 1 squad 5 GH + 1 WG (1 combi melta and one melta/plasma for vehicles)
- 2 squad 5 GH with a sarg (one melta or plasma) - 1 sarg being the metal wolf helm captain
- 1 squad 10 Blood Claws (or 2 squads of 5)

I'd appreciate any advice on the Blood Claw, Wolf Guard or GH sarg loadouts. Other than that, does the plan look sensible?
