Hello friends
I have a question regarding rogue trader SM tanks.
I found some for sale online. The only problem is that they look a little suss. They look too good to be true.

What do you guys think?

Considering the age, they look remarkably clean, but aside from that they look genuine:

Some damage, i.e. missing the 2nd bolter on the rhino, missing handrails (though that may be by choice, those things were fiddly), aerials a bit bent, rear exhausts the wrong way round, very obvious gaps between outer and inner sides, bit of mould lines in places. You can see where the rhino front viewports have been clipped off the sprue. All to be expected for the age.

I would say that once you've got them in your hands it should be possible to tell if they're resin recasts, but I can't see anything to indicate that from the photo.

Bonus point for correctly spelling "Rogue" though.

They certainly do not appear to be recast. If you look at the side panels on both you can see where they're separating and those would certainly be cast as a single piece on a recast.

This stuff does turn up. I sold 10 rhinos, a predator, a vindicator and a whirlwind last month.

Thanks for your replies.
I wouldn't normally care if it was a recast.
But I'm trying to go for something really original and takes people back.

They (GW - but they were actually done under licence by a third party at the time because GW didn't do their own plastics yet) did these in beige plastic (just like the original rhino and land raider kits were) and they look authentic.

So it's a bargain.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
