Hi, I'm curious about AoS, wondering if one could play both Flesh-Eater Courts and Daughters of Khaine in the same army.

Hi,

If you play AoS in its original form, you can mix and match any groups and factions.

Most comp systems limits this to only groups within one of the four Grand Alliances.

So basically it depends on how your gaming group will play the game - raw or comped.

Want to play a balanced Age of Sigmar?

The Age of Sigmar Project Points Cost!

Interestingly, my GW manager said the GW comp will not have alliance restrictions. Not sure if that's going to be true or not. Could lead to some funky armies.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

I sure wouldn't have a problem with it, and I'm sure others would agree. Just make sure you go over it with your opponent to make sure you have the best games possible.

If you can't believe in yourself, believe in me! Believe in the Dakka who believes in you!

I don't think they will either. One of the things with AoS has always been about freedom, and pointcosting has really nothing to do with the Grand Alliances anyway now that most synergies belong to factions or sub-factions. I would be surprised if GW decided to put that limit in.
