Subject: [Kick Starter]Dragon Hazard: The Saviors of Havinia
My FLGS(also publisher) starts the kick starter campaign for thier game " Dragon Hazard: The Saviors of Havinia".
The game is quite popular among gamers in Japan. I really love this game.
Campaign goal is gettinf the game translated into English(And maybe other language?).
I hope this game get played all over the world.
But sadly there is very few media talking about this game so....I post this.
Dragon Hazard: The Saviour of Havinia is a cooperative Japanese board game containing miniatures, where a group of 2-5 players gets together to kill a dragon that’s been ravaging the land.
By taking on roles as diverse as ninjas, gladiators, huntress, princes, and paladins (and more if stretch goals are met), the players will journey the countryside, undertaking various quests that will enable them to find treasure and provide them with the knowledge necessary to defeat the dragon before it awakens.
Dragon Hazard uses dice rolls to determine the fate of the players, ranging from how successful the players are with their questing and who gets targeted by the dragon’s rampages. But the players also come equipped with their own resources that they can use to tilt the odds in their favor. On top of that, the treasures they find by completing quests will also allow them to defeat the dragon more easily.
So It's dice-driven cooperative RPG-like boardgame with miniatures. It feels like Descent or Talisman but it can be played in 30min.
What I like is,the game is easy to learn but it require strategic thinking to beat. The Dragon is ing strong.
But even if your party became ash/red paste you can try again and again because it can be played very short time. And it's incredibly fun!
Design wise,it kinda similar to "Shadows Over Camelot" IMO.
Miniatures are good(full metal). It have feel of old school.
Great for Tabletop RPGs. I especially loved the paladin. The shoulder looks like castle!
