I've had my Knight-Atrapos modeled and sitting on my shelf because I'm weary about how the rule works for the Graviton Singularity Cannon, on a roll of 6 the blast is treated as a vortex. So does the template continue moving and causing D-wounds on models within the area with every subsequent turn?

The vortex that the Atrapos creates follows to rules for Vortex in the BRB under Special Rules, which answers your question on how long the vortex lasts in the game.
