Here's my take on an unending host, backed up by all the firepower that the vraksian renegades can muster! The actual main host is quite small (comparatively) with only 115 men. They're supported in the advance by 60 plague zombies (40 of which are obsec), and 2 spawn units to harass the enemy.

Sitting back and shooting are: 3 wyverns (individual units), 4 griffons, 2 hydras, 11 rapier laser destroyers and 7 autocannons from infantry units. Hopefully this would be competitive? I'd certainly not expect to be tabled haha

except the 25 men part. How important is it to have 5 specs? If you had to sacrifice one upgrade to fit at 4 for 20 men how will you cut it?

Cheers I'm not sure really - either drop the vox or one of the melta guns? Seemed to me that it might make sense to get additional value out of the militia training and the purchased leadership upgrades. 5 extra bodies doesn't hurt either I guess.

I think that several configurations for renegade infantry squads would probably be similarly effective tbh, the only thing that I REALLY like is the sigil - stubborn and re-rolling first morale test is awesome for 5pts

I'm still bit unclear as to what the demagogue adds to the squad above a regular champion (if anything) - his stats seem exactly the same in the rules...
