I could run it as a Steel Host, with a Hydra (70) for Preferred Enemy, or a techpriest (35) for an Emperor's Fist for a '12 BS4 bubble and rerolling pens bubble around the techpriest(s).

Besides those, I was thinking of adding a CAD for Wyverns and melta veterans.

Note that new draft GW FAQ says Preferred Enemy doesn't affect Gets Hot for blast weapons.

Yeah, I saw that, bit of a bummer.

Besides being torn between the benefits of both formations, I'm generally looking for a loadout which is generally fit to take on all comers.
