My gaming club is doing a small 1000 point tournament and I'm going to be taking my Eldar. I haven't played with them much so any advice for this would be very much appreciated.

Farseer Skyrunner w/ Anath'lan

Warlock Skyrunner

3 Windriders x3 all with scatter lasers

Vyper w/ missile launchers

Wraithknight w/ Ghostglave, 2 starcannons

Wraithlord w/ Ghostglave, 2 missile launchers

Total 998 points

So while the windrider host is cool, there's no need for it as you have NO shuriken weapons in your army. Flip over to a CAD for obsec scatbikes and enjoy the trolling.

-Vyper:: lose the missile laucher. WAY to expensive for 1 AA shot. Take scatter lasers for weight of fire to kill airplanes. (I run my vypers with a starcannon/brightlance or double shuriken cannon)
-Wraithlord:: the much maligned middle sized wraith walker. soooo slooow but super cool - same thing on the missiles you have 60 points on his shoulders. Go flamers with scatter lasers and a sword on him.
-Farseer:: I'd pick up a singing spear for sure. 12" s9 spear chucker and watch your opponent cry and you destroy a vehicle with a t3 s3 character
-wraithknight:: shoulder weapons are your preference, not a bad choice but scatter lasers get you more shots, but not ap2
-scat bikes:: epic. nuf said.

My critiques boss. You playtested yet?

I'm not terribly keen on the Wraithlord addition, I've found them very inefficient compared to the rest of your list. While this list should do rather well, you'd get a bit more punch if you swapped from Warhost to CAD, ditched the Vyper/Wraithlord, and added in your flavor of more efficient units while gaining ObSec.

No, I haven't playtested. Not much 40k at the moment but I'll try to get some in before I play. Thanks for the advice!

a. Autarch out for ... moar guns, Scats or Spiders. Hawks are also super good at low levels (most levels), pending the GW grenade FAQ's final draft.
b. Stone of Anath isn't needed much either. Are you playing on 4x4' or 4x6'? If the larger table, your bikes will have sooo much room to not worry about getting shot for a morale check ... and room to recover on Ld10.
c. Maybe a Jetlock for Reveal on an enemy's pesky unit in Cover.

I think he's on about the Spirit Stone of Anath'lan to help with his casting rather than the Shard of Anaris insta-killing word
