Subject: Utility of 10th Company Task Force...

I'm starting to lean toward 10th Co. as an Auxiliary choice to unlock various Strike Force builds. It confers a +1 cover save for Infiltrators prior to movement as well as Turn 1 Precision Shot to some combination of scouts and scout bikes (and Telion). I have a CC scout squad, a sniper scout squad, a heavy bolter, a missile launcher, a Landspeeder Storm, and I intend to purchase some scout bikes soon. It would be about 250 points on the table.
It seems like 10th Co. puts a lot of tools at your disposal for an aggressive board-control play style. Has anyone been impressed or disappointed by this formation? Thoughts in play...
Scouts mounted in a Storm confer Infiltrate on their transport, so their Turn 1 movement (or their Scout move, if they want to keep the +1 save) puts a 15-point assault cannon in good range for four S6 Precision Shots.
The Storm's Cerberus launcher fires blind grenades with a large blast, which could really help charging BikeStars on subsequent turns.
Scout bikes can Infiltrate too... another 15 points for six additional S6 Precision Shots from Astartes grenade launchers could be worth it if they use Infiltrate and either their Scout move or Turn 1 move to close to rapid fire range.
Snipers gain less, except that they can continue to fire Precision Shots beyond Turn 1 while potentially enjoying 2+ cover with camo cloaks and the formation bonus.
Scouts in general are way harder to dislodge from cover, so this may change the utility of locator beacons, Electrodisplacement, and other scout-based tactics.
Have I badly overestimated Precision Shot? How about the other angles? What haven't I thought of? Is anyone getting good service from this formation? Thanks!

One perk snipers get is as they are unlikely to move, they get to keep the cover bonus all game.
Scout Bikers can push forward very aggressively with a locator beacon. As a scout redeployment is not one of the things that pops the stealth, they keep it on the first turn. So even if you go second, you just jink, which gets boosted by the stealth. They should eat a disproportionate amount of fire, and if they survive, bring in precision deep strike.
One big downside over taking scouts as part of a CAD (or some other formations) is the lack of ObSec.
I use the 10th company as my low cost Aux, as I own them (unlike the AA or suppression force) I’ve found they do a pretty good job pulling their own weight.

10th CTF is only really used for low cost Aux, or spare points left over. The main advantage of Scouts are the lost cos ObSec, and as soon as you lose that you may as well have Tacticals. The only real loadout for the Scouts are just regular Bolters, and as we know they aren't terribly great.

Scouts are better than Tactical Marines though, so I don't get that point.

The only real reason to run a 10th Company Task Force these days is to ensure you are under-budget for a Gladius. Of you are running any of the other Strike Forces, there are tons of better and cheaper options.
