I recently put together some renegade knights and have come up with this list that would allow me to run both. I am wondering if anyone here would think this list COULD be competitive or if not, I would be close to TFG if I play it in a semi casual game. (for reference the last casual game I played had a Tau Tiger Shark and two Riptides)

Forsworn Detachment: 905 pts

-Knight with Hvy Stubber, Avenger Gatling Cannon x2, & Twin Icarus Autocannon (for AA)
-Knight with Hvy Stubber, Avenger Gatling Cannon x2

Crimson Slaughter Detachment 600 pts (gives units Fear, Harbingers of the Tormented, Renegades of the Dark Millennium)

Cult of Slaughter (units have Frenzied Horde, and The Desperate and the Depraved)
-Dark Apostle with Sigil of Corruption, Power Maul, Bolt Pistol, & MoT (Warlord) (Demagogue, Zealot)
-Cultists Squads x2 with 20 Cultists each

Cult of Slaughter
-Dark Apostle with Sigil of Corruption, Power Maul, Bolt Pistol, & MoT
-Cultists Squads x2 with 20 Cultists each

CSM Allied Detachment 343 pts

HQ
-Lord (No upgrades) (fearless)

Troops
-Cultist Squad x1 with 10 cultists

Heavy Support
-Obliterators x3 MoN

The allied detachment is really only around so that I can get an extra small squad of cultists for objective sitting, and to have the oblits to target armor. I wanted to have some other detachment solely for tank-busting however I do not know of one besides the helbrute x3 one and I have yet to see that work out for anyone. This list brings me to 1848 pts total, and I am 100% open to changing things up (would like to try and use at least one knight though)

Let me know if you have any comments or critiques

First of all, I must say that I like this list. It seems super fluffy, the idea of 50 Cultists mobbed around 2 Bastions of Chaos fits my idea of unholy fervor completely.

That being said, I don't think you have an exceptionally competitive list.

You lack mobility.
You lack resiliency.
You lack air support.
You lack psychic defense.

With this many problems, I can't consider your list competitive.

Yes, you have 2 Knights, but a competitive list can deal with 3 or more.

You aren't presenting your opponent with a threatening problem.

I would suggest a Cyclopean Cabal to start. Drop down to 40 Cyclists and the fluffy but fairly ineffective Dark Apostles either drop or take stock.

I think you are on to a great idea, you just need to refine it!

I'm glad this list isn't OP and does lack some aspects. I took the two dark apostle formations as each DA has a 3++ and every movement phase, the cultists squads in range revive D6. I might forgo the Allied detachment for the Cabal, as it is essential a 133 point tax for 3 oblits. Mobility is one of my biggest down falls, though I would assume out of 80 cultists a few will be able to get into CC against most opponents that aren't just gun lines.
