Hi everyone I'm hoping you help me make a tough choice
Friday I'm heading out to grab one of those start collecting kits and I'm torn between Khorn, Nurgle or Necrons. I currently have a 6000 pt Chaos Marine army and I wanted a change so I started collecting Daemons and I have about 1000 pts so far so I am looking at the idea of boosting them
However I kind of want to move away from Chaos and go with my second favourite force the Necrons and this would be a great place to start only issue is I would have to buy a new codex which I don't really want to do on Friday because I promised the Mrs a shopping trip and I gots bills to pay also I don't feel like I'm done with my Daemons yet either
What do you guys think?

I'd get the Necrons personally - not for any tactical reason other than it's a fresh start.
You won't really be needing a physical codex much until you've built them (and maybe painted) them all. I'll leave reading between the lines to you on how to arm them.

The Start Collecting Khorne would be great for starting a Daemonkin army. Necrons on their own are just pretty great

My current Daemon set up is just Nurgle and Khorn I use them to support my Marines some times, I am heavily leaning towards Necrons my only worry is it's going to be another army and I'll have to spread my resources between finishing my Daemons and Necrons

My main army is Necron and I have to say I love them. That being said the next army I would like would be Chaos Daemons. I've heard they are much more skill and situationally based. It sounds like more of a challenge. As far as Necrons go, if you run a Decurion you will most likely walk away with a win. That's not a bad thing, but people get bored of it. The chaos also has the appeal of choice to me. A lot of different gods/themes inside of that one army. Plus you can ally with your already large CSM force. It gets lonely as Necrons. Nobody loves us.
