Hi everybody I've been lurking this site a bit, I'm now going to be more active and, mostly, looking for advice on how to paint / play / build the miniatures I own

I'm a long term lurker of the game, started in 2004 as a little boy I owned a little regiment of Black Templars (which were just released) of the old SM mega force (1LR, 10 tactics, 5 terminators, 5 assaulters, 1 dreadnought) combined with a Rhyno, champion of the Emperor and a bit more. Once I finished building most of them my local game store slowly changed from being a WarGaming zone to a Comic shop and with it all the friends I had, I then stopped playing (let's say this transition lasted about 2-3 years) and started again last june when I read about the Fantasy being dead (I also owned a bit of Wood Elves).
On June 2015 I started trading my wood elves (and later on I got them back/increased) for Space Marines, in these trades I collected a bit of Dark Angels and Space Wolves, jumped into the BG and loved both the chapters even if that doesn't sound fine

I now have slowly collected a nice amount of plastic drug and willing to play with the new friends I made, I also started painting (just 10 tactical marines tbh) and I hope I'll get this thing done: I've finished my exams at the university (Physics) and I'm just chilling for the summer with my gf and miniatures

I too am a sick market lurker and I often spend too much money on these things without realizing the fact I should need to play them in order the get the money worth, that's why I have a small force of Tau and Orks xD
In Fantasy/AoS I own a nice amount of wood elves, I'd say 2k points of the old 8ed edition, but I need to invest in some more smart things, same as above for Vampire Counts which I have a little force which will be getting to 2k by investing a ton of points in lord equipment and the cavalry that will be shipped in a bit (Imperial Knights with skeletal head for 600 points and 18 euros ).
The same problem is with 40k:
I kinda spam terminators and rely on only 1 rhyno and 1 land raider for transport. I need to buy mostly support from now on: Droppod, Rhynos and Razorbacks.
