What tactics/tricks do you like to use against the followers of the false Emperor? Any good stories?

In words of Brain: "The same thing we do every night."

Bring a fast melee rush list and try to tie everything up in combat. Chaos lords on Juggers with Hounds make for a nice core, you'll often have a turn 2 change thanks to scout and there's plenty of ablative wounds to ensure your killy characters get there. Take cheap cultists as troops and either use them to objective sit, or sacrifice them for the the blood tithe. Attempt to get FNP as much as possible and hope that you can win in melee. Consider bringing a Forgeworld Daemon Knight of Khorne as he'll both give you bloodtithe points and benefit from the buffs.

Avoid bringing any actual power armoured CSM and you might be in with a shot of a good game.

Out of interest, what do you recommend arming a Juggerlord with? Everything in the KDK codex seems crap compared to the Axe Of Blind Fury...

For a mainline lord, Power fist, lightning claw, sigil. Maybe the armour if feeling fancy.

But the Axe of Korlath is pretty dang good on a suicide lord.

I usually set my Chaos lord up with a Juggernaut, Sigil of Corruption, Axe of Khorne, Power Fist, Blood-forged armor. Clocks in at 250 points, but he's pretty mean in CC. A lot of people like to take Goredrinker and a Lightning Claw on their Juggerlords, as it is a pretty sweet combo. You can't take the armor with this setup though.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

I *love* Kor'lath, if just for the looks on the faces of the other players.
