Hey there.

So firstly, let me apologize if this is in the wrong place. I am a new player looking for some help, and while I know this forum is for competitive lists, I don't see a spot better to post for advice concerning new players getting into their first army (though I did consider posting in Introductions). To the mods, feel free to move the thread as necessary.

I inherited a bunch of Space Wolves stuff from a friend when he decided he no longer wanted to support the game:

Sammael, Ravenwing Command Squad, 3x Rhinos, Wolf Guard Battle Leader, Fenrisian Wolves, 3x Iron Priests, Space Wolves Blood Claws. Since, I have purchased the Core Rulebook and the Space Wolves Codex and am slowly starting to digest them.

Do I have the makings of a semi-competitive list? I know everyone says start small, but frak that. If I am investing in this game, I want to make sure I am buying pieces that are going to build me towards a competitive list. Can anyone help me turn these pieces into an army list?

Any guidance would be appreciated.
