This guy is by far my favorite Cerastus Knight, and I wanted to use him to try out a marble recipe.

The marble looks good, but the red could do with another highlight colour.

Dude the marble effect is REALLY cool

wish you alternated it with some Black marble as well for more contrast though

The red looks a little sloppy, and hasn't quite achieved the glow.. Possibly just needs another highlight and a little tidying up.

Marble looks good, though.

Thanks for the feedback all, I had lingering thoughts on the red and hearing it from others helps. I'll hit it back up today and see what you think.

I think the marble effect looks good. White is a tough color to work with as is and you've done a solid job making it look textured.

I'm not a fan of the air-brushed 'glow' effect, partly because not everything mechanical gets hot enough to glow, and partly because I don't think the airbrushing really conveys that image in the first place (not your airbrushing in particular, just airbrushing in general).

When I 'stepped back' and stopped looking at the model's parts and took a glance at the whole thing, I felt it looked a little flat. At first I thought it was just that the two-tone white/metal was not providing enough contrast, but upon reflection I think that it's because some essential details are missing: There are seams in the armor plating that have large rivets along them which did not get colored.

I would go back and just paint all the rivets the same metal color as the rest and see if that doesn't provide the contrast.

All of this is just my opinion of course! In any case, the marble looks good!

Nice paintwork. While the marble effect was well done it doesn't make sense to me as far as armored plating on a Knight goes, but it isn't my model, so I don't much care. Looks like a nicely airbrushed Knight (I have a hard time telling all the airbrushed Knights apart if I'm honest).

Edited first post with new pics, further highlight and third lightsource to make the marble look like marble in the pics.

Definitely looks good. I personally think there should be a little more contrast or something on the marble patterns.
Nevertheless, great work.
