Hi all,
I wanna buy some cool transfers for my Death Guard armor. I have a forgeworld sheet but I also want to get some "names" and stuff. like, to call my tank names. Anyone know any generic sheets around?
Also just neat things like kill counts and stuff.
I seen a guy on youtube CrusaderTemplar or something doing a fellblade and he had a transfer called "DOMINATOR" and he had a transfer that was a kill count, little skulls.
Anyone know any good places to get these kind of trasnfers?

Try and find a Baneblade transfersheet or Guard vehicle transfers for those. There are kill count markers and names on them.

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

If you go to a big hobby shop with lots of scale models, they'll usually have boxes full of decal sheets for historical and scale models. If they are unorganized, it can take a looooong time to go through them though; 99.9% are useless, or have like, 5 sq mm useful on the entire sheet. Some hobby shops can have an insane markup on them, too -- the rationale is that they take up a bunch of space, and they rarely sell them, so when they do, they want to make a bunch of profit on it.

www.fallouthobbies.com do some nice water-slide transfers and airbrush stencils. They can also make custom ones for you. I'd imagine shipping to NZ would be cripplingly expensive though...

It may be worth looking into printing your own. If you have some fairly specific requirements then finding the right decals at a reasonable price could be a bit of a mission.
I've recently started doing this. So far I have been very impressed with the print quality that is achievable. They are just as crisp as the official sheets. Sealing with acrylic lacquer is very easy. They are slightly more painful to cut out and with more of the clear 'border' but if you use microsol/set then the border blends away.
