Looks pretty good.
I’d like to see more then 3 HG. But I’m not sure where the points would come from at this level.
You are also a little light on AV. Not that orks are known for lots of heavy armor, but shy of the dreads, you have very little.
Getting a third pod would let you place two on the first turn. You could swap out pretty much any transport for one and it would work.
Good hunting!

I was going for more of a light armor/ high mobility/ solid in close combat the orks are so fond of. I have a reall tendency to try to sit back and shoot at a distance. This time I was looking to get muddy and bloody

I would just be worried if he brings a few battlewagons, walkers, or whatever. To be honest, it’s been a while since I’ve faced the green menace, not sure what they have these days. But you only have 3 guns with higher then a 5 strength.
It’s just setting off flags in my TAC Ultramarine brain. Need more firepower. Against a list with a decent amount of armor, particularly heavy stuff, you are going to have problems. You aren’t going to be able to stop battlewagons or trucks full of boys until they are right in your lap.
Which will make for a glorious battle, mind you. but one tactically best avoided.

Don't forget that Krak Grenades can go up to AV12 and Pedro has his personal Power Fist for armour.
I would however replace one Dreadnought with some Devastators with Las Cannons. I'm not a fan of even numbered pods, I usually only bring one if I have no reserve manipulatin (of which you don't have any). Having the Devastators means that you'll being to use the ful extent of your force against him turn one. You'll be able to double out any Nobz that he brings and can bring some Tankhunters to the table, without risking losing a dreadnought in the process.

I actually think that is a prudent idea. I think I was a little two focused trying to beat them at their own game. Points allowed for a swap of one dread and its pod for a 5 man squad of Devs, X3 Las 1 ML. Gives me the tank punching power and some crowd control that I may need. Thanks for the advice!

I am not going to figure out exaclty whar to do but a few suggestions.]
Lose the rhinos and go with 5-man squads in razzorbacks. Go melta squad and TL HQB on the razors or flamer and TL-Las on the razors if you want long range anti-tank. Razors are mobile. HW are anchors in tacs unless you take grav weapons or don't mind snap firing.
Personally I would go sternguard anywhere I could over honorguard. With their ammo they are going to be superior to heavy bolters.
I like the two dreads in DPs but I would like a 3rd. I would suggest a 5-man assault squad with two flamers then lose the jump packs for the free drop pod.
When you have your list, any spare points can go into combi weapons for sternguard or a sergent.\
I hope this gives you some ideas.

You could swap out the honor guard for half a tac squad, give all the sergeants storm bolters for each tac squad. You'd get just about as many attacks as you would with the honor guard, more if you charge. Automatically Appended Next Post: where do you reference the acronym glossary?
