Hey everyone,

A couple of weeks ago i started playing CSM & really enjoyed it thus far - even so people tend to say that CSM is horrible and i should go for Daemons or Ally with daemons.
But i actually enjoy my Slaaneshi Party bus, even though i haven't won yet (losses & draws in Maelstrom-Missions). My biggest issue at this point is, that i do not have enough
shooting. The only shooting i have is a group of Noise Marines & CSM Troops - but i want some Heavy Support Dakka. So, what do you think of this;

The idea is, since almost nobody in my local store plays vehicles & mostly infantry - the one guy i play most against plays Footdar, so lots of bodies - to use the
Sorcerers to buff up my Noise Marines with the Slaaneshi psychics like hysterical frenzy / symphony of pain & roll on Telepathy if i'm lucky with my rolls on Slaanesh.

The Havos & Forgefiend stay away from the enemy & throw their tons of Ammunition at the enemy, the noise marines will stay at an objective and blast at anything in range.
So, what do you think? What should i drop and/or add?

Here is a way to switch up your current list, trying to use the models that you have.

Split the noise marines into 2 squads of 5, each with a blastmaster. Keep these guys far back, getting maximum use out of your 48" range. The str 8 ap 3 small blast is awesome, but it counts as a heavy, so moving and shooting with it is a no-no. This means I would drop the sonic blasters. Plus, the noise marines are fearless, so getting VOTLW on them is pretty redundant . This frees you 51 points.

For my personal taste, I would drop the lvl 2 sorcerer, for a MoS lord, saving you 20 extra points. This also allows you to get your 2 squads of noise marines as your troops choices. Then, your could use your 2 squads of CSM as 1 more squad of havocs, and one squad of chosen, and I would equip them each squad with one lascannon. This gives your list some nice str 9, and the 48" range goes well with the range of the blastmasters, forge-fiend, and the autocannons.

Doing all of this would leave you with 46 points, plus the 4 that you already have left over, giving you enough points to grab a squad of cultists. 10 guys are like 20bucks or so in case you dont have them. Put both of your hq choices with the cultists to give your sorc a whole bunch of bodies to eat shots while he throws out his powers. If you roll frenzy, you can use it to buff up your cultists and lord, and if you roll symphony, you can still buff your bm's.

The Chaos Lord with MoS is something i actually forgot, that actually makes things easier. Thanks for the advice

Every sorcerer should take a spell familiar, it is IMHO the best upgrade you can take on a sorcerer
