Okay, here is my seraphim canoness and St. Celestine conversions. I sculpted the wing feathers on existing warhawk wings. Yes, these are painted but I think the wings need help to pop. They have a grey base, white drybrush, and a wash, but lack depth. So anyone who has some techniques that I might do (I am not the best painter, although the St. Celestine NMM is decent) please share. If you have any questions about the conversions or whatever please go ahead and ask, or just let me know what you think. (St. Celestine is a reaper ghoat I chopped at waist and then sculpted the legs. The canoness is a GW that I chopped the legs from and sculpted my own)
Anyway, pics. St. Celestine first, then my canoness.

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

Im not the best at anything, i love the work you did, i just have one thing that gripes me, the feathers would if looked better a bit more pointier. Please dont be offended they look awesome. As for tips on painting them... As i said i dont know much, maybe give them a diluted go with ulthuan grey, then a wash of thinned( very thinned) black and then bring it back up with ulthuan grey and highlight eith pure white. But as i said i dont know much. Great job nonethelesss. Keep us posted.
