I KNOW that if i take 2 formations that each one can have its own chapter tactics

What im confused about is when the chapter tactics involves 2 ultramarines formations

Do i just get the 3 activations throughout the entire army or does each formation get its own set of doctrines

For example in my primary detachment i use the tactical doctrine. Does that apply to the formation that i brought that is also ultramarines? Or can i activate the tactical doctrine for my primary and activate something else in the formation?

From 'Combat Doctrines':

"You can enact a single available Combat Doctrine at the start of each of your turns."

From 'Ultramarines Chapter Tactics':

"...all Ultramarines models in your army are affected."

Note that if you have Combat Doctrines from a Battle Demi-company or other formation/detachment only the models stated to be affected (usually only models within that formation/detachment) are affected.

Ok so just the one works for everyone ok.. Yeah so i was getting confused due to the fact that if you wanted to, you could take a white scars bike formation and a mechanized ironhands formation to abuse the chapter tactics a little which provides 2 bonuses to the 2 seperate formations its strange how if you have all ultras that theyre rule is rolled into 1
