random formation I came up on the fly during yet another discussion on how bad Tatical Termies are. thought I'd toss it here and see what everyone thinks. some bits about my philophesy when I designed this first. Terminators are not supposed to have "ABSURD LEVELS OF FIREPOWER!"™ that's the domain of the Centurion suits. The termies place then should be that of the survivable brick unit. so I tossed out a rough idea for a formation that supports this.

Terminator Bulwark:
Sometimes a chapter must hold an important position against all comers, sometimes it's a fortress othertimes an important location. the important thing is that the defenders cannot give an inch of ground. for these situations a Space Marine Chapter employs the legendary 1st company Terminator Bulwark.

Requirements
2-5 Terminator Squads

Special Rules:
Stubborn
Objective secured.

May re-roll Invunerable Saves.


Please note that the terminator Bulwark specifies terminator squads not assault terminators, so no re-rollable 3++s

Doesn't seem to help them much. I can still down them with wound spam and use so much AP2 they fail saves anyway.
Stubborn seems pointless. LD isn't a problem and it's not like it matters with ATSKNF.

As a side point one of the big things about Terminator armour is they can fire heavier weapons on the move compared to standard Marines so there is a point in boosting their shooting.

I'm firmly convinced there is one solid way to fix terminators permanently.

1 dice Scatter on teleport
Can arrive turn 1 on a 4+ and always arrive turn 2
Can charge assault and shoot once they have landed.
