I want to give my Riptide hands, like the hands that come with the commander kit.

I've found some gundam bits but I can't tell if they are the right size or not (from the Bandai Gunpla Builder Parts set) and they don't look quite sleek enough.

Can anyone recommend or suggest other places to look please?

not sure exactly what style/pose hands you're after...and this is a bit of a outside-the-box idea, but...have you considered looking at various action figures in toy stores?...something like transformers, even cheap knock-off power rangers/transformers/misc. robot figures...I figure they'd be about the right scale, and you only need it to cannibalise the hands...I dunno, could be worth a look?

I'm not aware of any third-party places that do much tau stuff period, let alone something fairly niche like that, but then, I haven't specifically looked for anything like that, so they may be out there, maybe someone else here knows of a place...

*edit: hmm, not exactly sure if the scale would work, but maybe dreadknight hands?

I'd second the suggestion to look at cheap action figures.

Eldar wraith lord ones should work.

Possibly look at gundam kits. Should be a good place to nab some suitably robot spares

The dark eldar talos comes with a pretty good mechanical right hand, but you'd have to go megaman and do up a gun for the other.

Cheers for the pointers, I found and ordered a set of hobby base 1/144 mechanical hands.

All the fingers are seperate parts so fully posable. Just have to alter it to lose a finger.

Took an age and a half for the hands to arrive. I got the 1/144 ones and they are little too small. I know i should cut one of the fingers off but they are so fiddly that it requires more skill than i possess so it'll have to be a five fingered tau .
