Hi guys I've been making games as a passion on and off since childhood, never really shared my creations but I'm eager to design something big and release it. I have a lot of ideas flying around from previous games I've made but I need your help with a) companies that publish games b) Where to buy minis for use in my games - want to start off printing the rules myself and selling a boxed DIY game. c) Where to find free for use images.

Any ideas for games would be most appreciated, I am currently thinking of a tabletop wargame using ships, a fantasy card-based wargame for epic battles or a D&D/dark souls style dungeon crawler.

Thanks everyone

Check out the game design forums on Board Game Geek. They have a wealth of info if you're willing to spend some time reading through the threads. Good luck.

My suggestion - find a locally available 3D printer and make your own pieces. Sometimes a local library or University will have one that you can use. Good luck!
