Hello everyone!
I am sure you can help me with two questions.

Is a standard (SM, Standard of the Emperor) lost, if for exemple the standard-carrier got shot by a sniper with precise shots, or can it be "taken" by another model of the unit?

A Stormraven-Gunship in flying-mode got one penetrating hit, with result 4 - crew stunned. Is it possible to declare in the next moving-phase, that the Gunship switches to skimmer-mode?

Lost unless the Standard specifically allows for it. There are no basic rules for transferring Wargear between models once the game starts.

Nothing is specifically stated either way. Since Hover is a voluntary action and Stunned and Hover do not prohibit the switch, I would say it is possible.

Do note that it would basically just sit there with a huge "HIT ME!" sign standing on it and have no protection from Hard To Hit.

It's lost, just like for example, a guy with a Meltagun gets sniped, you can't just transfer it to another dude in the unit.

I think the reason you would switch to Hover is because a Stunned Flyer may have to move on top of another unit, causing it to Crash (unless that has changed)
Being a target and soaking more fire is still better than being dead, even if that is what happens anyway.

That has changed, in the draft FAQ, I believe

I need to check the datasheet when I get home, but I'm fairly certain it says "the unit may take a standard", not "one model from this unit may . . . " I could be wrong, but if that is the case, the standard isn't actually attached to any specific model in the unit.
