I never liked the Epic40k/E:A depictions of the Greater Gargants but your model is excellent. For the first time I can appreciate the 'blocky design' of that era.
Good work!
Ruleswise, maybe add more firepoints (8, 10, 12?) for the models inside? A transport capacity of 30-40 should be possible for a model of that size too. Anyway, looks good overall. Thanks for the videos

Thx for the Input
Well. The Rules for the ArmourValue and Shields are very much the same as the Imperial Warlord. Wich btw has Shield that can come back unlike my Gargant.
From Test Games the main Problem is to Balance the Gargant against D-Weapons.
I might ditch the 5++ or the Shield. And give him more HP instead.
But any Ork Player in their right mind will just load the Titan with KFF meks anyway. And more Meks for Repair rolls.
When playing my Warhound i also do this and keep Techmarines next to them.
There would have to be a general rule not to give Titans cover save or Inv. Save.
But then again basic Knights allready come with Inv. Save.
I think the Eldar Titan also have some sort of Inv. to keep them alive. Its hard to balance the model fair against all Armys.

The way the Model is built is could put models on the Shoulder and there is a Area behind the Jaw were Models could stand.
We figured that if you would let models shoot out. You could just put all youre shock-attack-guns and Lootaz inside the Gargant. Makeing them indistructable and the game to much about killing the Gargant. It would be very cheesy.
You could put youre entire army in vehicles Battlefortresses and Stompas and the opponent would end up not haveing any Targets for his low Str. Weapons. That coud be very dull.

The burning pits of Hades, also known as Sweden in summer
The Warlord has a 5++ due to Reinforced Structure, not a shield generator; it just seemed odd that the Gargant's shields do different things depending on their name.
If anything, this thing almost seems too similar to the Warlord, aside from weaponry.
I think the 4xd6 large blasts would take an awful lot of game time to implement...until the enemy ran out of models within scatter range. Not sure how fun that would be for either player.

You might consider posting the model itself over in Painting & Modeling as well (or in the P&M Showcase, if you have some still pictures available - we don't allow video as the only depiction in the Showcase).

Well we play tested it. Against a mob of gaunts or marines it would be a waste to shoot at. You would use it against Titans or Vehicle Squadrons. When youre playing apoc and you would field the 3000 points worth or Leman Russ you would likely have to do more rolls. I didnt want to make the weapon D caus the alterante weapon is allready a D weapon with heavy 2.
