As the title says I've finished painting the 10 marines of the squad with the base colours I bought.
I don't know what to do further: I've no hobby shop nearby and I'm new to the hobby what should I do?

Here's the tactial squad: http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/images-100115-51607_First%20Ever%20Miniatures.html

I own these colours:
GW
Abbadon Black
Gehenna's Gold
Nuln Oil

Vallejo Game Color:
Dark Green
Glory Red
Gunmetal
Ghost Grey
Bonewhite

What should I buy and how should I use the things I buy?
I own 1-2-4 brushes

Invest in some washes. The GW washes are really quite excellent. "Nuln Oil" wash is so useful. You'll find the Glaze paint "waywatcher green" also useful on your DA guys after you highlight.

So basically at this point you want to hit the entire model with a dark wash (Nuln Oil, or even a Vallejo wash)... then touch up the big surfaces with your green again. -- then start highlighting with a lighter green color or a mix of your dark green with white or bone etc.

If you're wondering where to highlight... take a desklamp and point it directly at your model from above/front. Note where the light reflects the most ...likely the head/face, shoulder pads, backpack, knees and toes. Those are where you layer in your highlight. Or you could just do edge highlighting.

^ as above some grab some washes. GW make both green and black washes that would really help bring the detail.

I prefer to use the GW Agrax Earthshade wash on the bolt gun and chest pieces on marines. The Nuln Oil will be fine for shading everywhere else. You can mix your green with the white to get a lighter shade to drybrush the extreme highlights. Or just buy a lighter shade of green. I like the moot green for my Dark Angels. Since it isn't a GW Dry it doesn't come off as powdery.

Thank you all for your kind replies
I'll be (I've been asking help over facebook too) trying to fix the errors I made and be neater, then I'll go for a "wash" of nuln oil (is this supposed to be called this way?) with a big brush (which size is a nice one to use?) and then highlight with waywatcher green

I've been struggling to have a nice consistency over my colours, some of them are really diluted others aren't is there a way to know how much is fine?

I personally like black wash on green but as Monkey Tamer said the Earthshade would work too.

And the waywatcher green is a glaze... so you wouldn't highlight with that. So let's say you do some real extreme "edge highlights" with a very light color, like bone; the contrast might too extreme -- so then you can go over it with the glaze to smoothen out transition. Glazes have other uses too but that's a good place to start.

Consider highlights too. You can either go for layering or drybrush.
