So, after my little Necromunda thread got some going now, I figure I'd open one up for Mordheim, just to discuss your lists, fave characters you've had throughout your matches and general list help (Offical, experimental or unofficial, go nuts) and funny stories you'd wish to share! So, unlike necromunda, I actually haven't had much experience with the game itself, apart from binge watching a fair few games (Seriously, if anyone knows of decent Mordheim gamers other than GamingwiththeCooler, and Guerrilla, let me know please!). But here's a few fun lists I'm cranking out, and looking forward to starting these projects soon!
Here's a PDF I found for anyone to use, and is just documents on google drive, which come with all the rules and warbands available to you! https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B18J5DU-6cP_aEg2dHIxbGpaMlk&usp=drive_web&ddrp=1#

That O&G list is illegal, as you cannot have more Squigs than you have Goblins. Also, I wouldn't bother with Crossbows (as that Animosity will be a real pain for you early on).
I wrote the following one for Reiklanders.
Captain w/ Duelling Pistol: 85
Champion w/ Club: 38
Champion w/ Club: 38
Youngblood w/ Halberd: 25
Youngblood w/ Halberd: 25
Marksman w/ Blunderbuss & Club: 58
Marksman w/ Blunderbuss & Club: 58
Marksman w/ Blunderbuss & Club: 58
Swordsman w/ Sword: 45
Bounty Hunter: 40
Tilean Marksman: 30
The result? The Blunderbuss is...actually rather mean, due to it being an "Autohit" against multiple targets (So if your opponent is planning to huddle Sling Skaven in an area, or you're fighting in a street, you can inflict a lot of disruption), you get dual Crossbow support from the Marksman (who ignores range & cover penalties) & Bounty Hunter; the Hunter can likewise hamper the development of enemy warbands by attempting to capture their Leader or a well-equipped Hero.
Converting this to a Middenheim Warband is fairly easy: Drop a Marksman, give the Captain a club, upgrade one Champion to a Wolf-Priest of Ulric, and take a Wolf Companion. Hope you roll the Bloodlust or Wolf's Howl prayers. Note that technically, you are not a "Warrior Priest", though the "Saves against Spells don't apply to prayers" rules take place here. Your group might need to houserule whether or not you're allowed to take Magical Aptitude, but if you can...

My local GW ran a straight from the book campaign, I played Witch Hunters
Captain: Brace if Pistols, sword, mace
Witch Hunter: sword, mace
Witch Hunter: Sword, Mace
Witch Hunter: sword, mace
Warrior priest: sword, mace
5 Hounds
2 flagellents with flails
Elf Ranger
If I was to do The campaign over, I'd probably buy crossbows for my witch hunters earlier, drop the brace of pistols in favour of other things. I used a template and did some reading up on WH, but dropped zealots in favour of more dogs.
I gradually replaced dogs throughout the campaign with more flagellents, and picked up an Ogre. I was on the fence of picking up a freelancer, but eh.
And, if you are really lucky, having a Flagellent become a hero early is amazing.
One decent thing that could be done instead is giving the captain and warrior priest a great weapon to start with, and get them the strength skill to swing at initiative. Helps vs Vampires, unless you get really lucky getting the shrine that gives you blessed weapons.
If we do another, I might play a xbow line Reiklander list. Haven't really put to much thought into it, since I like the Witch Hunters so much...
