Subject: A nice cheap proxy for Wyrdvane Psykers, and a Primaris Psykers???
I need 15 wyrdvane models and a Primaris to run a formation for my IG. They're $15 for 3, and $15 for 1 primaris. I just need a cheaper alternative because $100 for 4 different looking models doesn't ring my bell so to speak.
Any suggestions?

[img]You could look at converting some Flagellants and adding hooded heads. I found a guy on Ebay selling some and they made great psykers for my Inquisitorial warband. The arms were from some dark elf kit, but if you checked bitz suppliers I am sure you could find several good options.
Plus the kits have loads of cool gothic stuff to add to your other models for a really grimdark feel.

Reaper's Bones line has plenty of robed guys and sorcerous looking individuals in the right scale at cheap prices. You might want to stick a lasgun somewhere on them but can't beat the price.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

I've been working up Inquisitorial Henchmen based on Anvil Industry's House Crowmantia line. Not quite as bulky as GW models, which means they look a bit more human next to Space Marines and the like.

I picked up 16 models from the reapers bones line. They're just generic mages/ towns people. I'm going to try and kit bash them with leftover pieces for a 40k feel. I even picked up some female characters. Not sure if I'll love them but for $40 for 16 different looking models, I'm willing to test it out
