Looking to get some of these guys from Dreamforge

The support weapons boxes have kneeling guys.

Can you stick normal rifles/arms on the kneeling guys to have regular stormtroopers in a kneeling pose?

In other words, is their anything in their construction/assembly that would prevent you from converting them easily???

The pics on the Dreamforge site make it look doable.....

Thanks for any info....

To my knowledge, all of the Dreamforge stormtrooper kits are fully interchangeable with bitz from that family of DFG kits (i.e. - not the Valkir). Panzerjaegers (female troopers), stormtroopers, command squad, support weapons and the accessory kit can all be intermixed freely and will work. The main gotcha with the line is the paired parts, like the arms, but those are clearly marked.

The range is insanely well-engineered for versatility.

Should work fine. I don't actually have the heavy weapon box but the normal 20 man box comes with a few kneeling poses and they work fine.

The range is excellent, literally the only flaw I've ever found with it is that it doesn't have a system taking advantage of all those excellent models. If you end up getting a couple of boxes of troopers, try to pick up an accessory sprue, they add a ton of options to the kit and you only need one for 40 troopers really

Keep in mind the heavy troopers (the valkir I believe) are the key exception, they do not swap well with the stormtroopers for obvious reasons.

I have 2 boxes of the accessory sprue. Since I need 8 boxes of the heavy weapons and only need 1 guy per gun, I was wondering what I could do with the other other guys.

You could use all the submachine guns from the accessory boxes to make a bunch of commandoes. Kit them out with the knives of their shins, add the ammo pouches every where. I love the accesory kit for the incredible mule bots that come with them.
