As title, I was looking into force on force but their website shows all bar one book as either sold out or not available in hardcopy (including main rule book) and their forums have been down for ages.

Are they releasing a new version or is something else going on?

Have not spoke to Shawn from AAG for a while, not much since I finished up work on the initial Osprey releases to be honest.

Last I heard last year, was he was working on a new version of Ambush Alley for release this year.

My understanding was that it was originally slated for late last year. Obviously, it didn't make that date.

No idea what the current state of it is, though, as AAG hasn't posted any updates that I've seen in quite a while.

Cheers for the replies! Gonna have to go for skirmish Sangin instead then, although its bizarrely hard to come by here even though the company is based less than an hour away.

The problem with finding the books is minimum print runs, especially on the stuff Ambush Alley had done by Osprey. Osprey probably owns the print rights and doesn't think there is a profit to be made from a second printing, or has no room in their schedule. There are still copies to be found on Amazon and Ebay for a lot of the stuff, although the core rulebook seems to be harder to find.

Yeah core rulebook I found for $35US, but doesn't ship to nz and every other copy is over $100US. And that is a lot more than I am willing to spend for a rule set sight unseen. I couldn't even find their books for sale on the osprey site.

Have you looked for tutorials or playthroughs on youtube? I wouldn't pay $100 for a copy of it though! keep an eye out on ebay.

Just a quick heads up to say a new ambush alley forum is up and running, there's a link on their front page to the forum. Plus a little bit of info about the new version called ambush alley"boots on the ground".
The focus is on a smaller amount of models and has a points system. Will pick that up while still building up my forces for the fof Iraq supplements.
