I've been doing alittle bit of work lately on figuring out what i want to do with and for my tau in terms of color and composition. I think that i have the general thought of what i want the armor to look like for my army, but im still trying to hammer down the accents and other detail work. I like the look of white armor, and i think that i've figured out a nice way of making it look good on the table.

For sept color im still trying to decide, as well as accent colors, My thought is a medium grey color, such as is used in GW's studio scheme.

On my suits, im playing back and forth between a black frameing, or a metal (which is what ive painted in my concept one)

For my infantry figures, im experimenting with under armor colors. So far i've painted up one figure with purple, and im not sure if i like it or not, i've also been thinking of going red, black, or grey.

I'm also giving though to going with a highly weathered appearance, im still working on the method of which im going to apply it, so you'll see on the crisis suit what i've come up with so far, and on my fire warrior a clean version.

In any case, i would like to get some feed back and see what you guys think.

I would add just a touch of distress to the armor plates on the warrior.

Also, yellow and purple are complimentary, try to work some yellow in, maybe as yellow sand or earth?

The crisis suit is very well done, but for me it's too weathered. I figure Tau look after their armour better than that!
