This week, we have a climactic battle in the Realm of Life in store – the Battle of Blackstone Summit…

The Story So Far
The Lady of Vines, carrying Alarielle’s seed pod, had almost reached her destination, where the goddess could be planted and reborn into a more warlike aspect suitable for fighting the forces of Nurgle. However, Blackstone Summit, the burial site of ancient heroes, had already been conquered by Torglug the Despised and his Rotbringers, and they formed a cordon blocking the path of the Lady of Vines and her bodyguard.

The Rotbringers had been joined by a large contingent of Nurgle daemons, led by a Great Unclean One – the forces ranged against the Lady of Vines were formidable, but the God-King Sigmar was watching and into the battle he hurled his most favoured of servants…

Great report Matt and a very fitting finalé to the story! Doesn't Torglug have 3 Great Unclean Ones in this battle though? ;-) In all serious though, the Nurgle army looked a little bit outmatched. You mentioned summoning, but it seems only one summoning attempt was made and it got dispelled. Either way, it looked like great fun and maybe we'll see Torglug fighting on the other side next time around?

Thanks for posting and I can't wait to see your Death army join the campaign.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

Honestly, you should just take the Venator off the base and just leave the bird on there

Great battle.

Yeah, I kinda backed away from multiple Great Unclean Ones in an earlier battle when Bolathrax summoned the Rotguard - seven more Great Unclean Ones!

He had access to more summoning, but I think he was fixated on the Plague Wind instead!

I know, I mean, seriously. It is not that this model just tends to be bad. It is just bad. All the time. Opponents should be living in fear of it, but they just laugh now whenever he is deployed...
