So I want to get into Orks. I love painting them, I love their nomad feel and in general they are just cool. I have noticed Orks are divided between ironjawz, greenskinz and bonespilittaz. Now that grimgor and azhag have been removed from the store, who leads them in the lore?, the bonesplittaz are the savage orc brand, i know that. But are the Ironjawz just a different type of greenskin? Do they have a different religion? What is different about them?

Also, in the lore would it be un-lore friendly to have greenskin orcs and the ironjawz teaming up?

Nothing it's pretty much the same as always the biggest and strongest leads. Ironjawz are just big orruks that have been fighting for a long time and to make their gear they steal it from other people they kill and beat it into shape with their hands. They still worship gork and mork like everyone else and have to deal with warbosses and mega bosses thinking they want to lead.

Iron jawz are from 40k and greenskins are fantasy.

On a side note iron jawz are basically black orks remade into a army. Ard boys are old black orks painted yellow.

just because you don't like them please don't confuse the op. Ironjawz are the biggest and baddest of the orruk. They definitely still work with greenskinz.
Gordrakk is the orruk version of archaon and is currently gathering everyone, including greenskinz, up for waaagh against chaos.
Ironjawz also don't have to be yellow. Just like everyone else they have a ton of different branches.

Greenskins is the old WHFB name for the general species. In AOS they are now Orruks.

Of that species, there are different categories of tribes that are all Orruks but have different characteristics. Examples are Savage Orruks and Ironjaws.

Ironjaws are a category of tribes that have grown huge and brutish. As a category, there are many tribes of Ironjaws though like Bloodtoofs and Ironsunz.

fury of gork was about gordrakk and his interaction wit the stormcast. I liked it a lot.

Battletome ironjawz has some fun stuff too like a tribe of ironjawz that like to fight in the undead realm of shyish because the undead constantly reanimate so they constantly get to fight. There's also mention of another tribe that like to paint their armor like chaos to trick the seraphon into attacking them just for a good fight and another tribe that paint their armor like stormcast just so the hammer gods boys aren’t the fanciest.
