Hey all, so I'm starting my first Legion as the Iron Hands, it was either them or Blood Angels, but I already have a 40k BA army so... Anyways I started with the Betrayal At Calth set because it's all I had access too($150 for the set, couldn't say no) and want your opinions on where to go with it. I plan on having two fifteen man Tac squads with the Termies acting as Morlocks. Want to add a Fellblade/Glaive(not sure which I would personally as of yet) but have hit a bit of a stumble here. Ferrus Manus is a must, as well as the contempt or dread and maybe a Deredeo dred, but in all honesty I'm not sure... Any help would be great!

from the calth set:

1 praetor (either HQ model)
1 centurion (either HQ model, does NOT have to be a chaplain)

2 15-man tactical squads w/ extra CCWs

5 terminators (whatever loadout)
1 Contemptor w/ kheres + fist

from there, expand whatever direction you what your army to look like: nearly every option available in 30k can be and is playable and good.

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

I actually think that Iron Hands would benefit more from buying two extra Missile Launchers and fielding a Heavy Support Squad, and just have one ten man squad and another fifteen man squad. I think it'd help with some heavy lifting.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!
