Im looking for a good, reliable, well stocked bits site that is cheaper than the rest. Im not paying $1.50 or more for a damn head. Thats ridiculous! I know theres bitbox and bitz and kits. Both have a lot of bitz but some are just outrageously priced

bits box has been pretty reliable but their prices are just too high on certain bits. Such as a helmet being 1.75USD. ONE helmet!! I just cant afford to spend on that.

For bits sites, it isn't really profitable to sell the small cheap items. Yeah they could put individual heads up for a quarter, but spending all day locating, boxing and shipping 25 cent heads doesn't make you much money. Your best bet for those kind of items is a local shop and a player willing to let you paw through their bits box.

well your other option is to try to win an ebay auction or two, either from one of the sellers who deal in bits all the time or from someone trying to off load bits. I did manage to get some that way, not my preferred route, but it when it works, you can get stuff a lot more cheaply.

suck it up. bits are higher priced, why? because people want specific ones, thus those so inclined can charge more for them as they know modellers looking for that one part for a conversion wont mind paying 2 quid for a head when the alternative is paying 30-40 quid for a full box. best bet is to buy the bits in bulk so the cheaper ones balance the overall price out a bit

I no longer use Ebay after my account was hacked and a lot of charges were made to it and then after the owners investigated decided that it was something I had done when in fact I had never even vistited the sites in question or those auction so ebay is out for me. I refuse to use a site that allows that type of stuff to happen and there is currently on ongoing suit taking place because of the amount of money lost. Guess I could try the facebook groups. Thanks for the advice guys

Facebook groups are actually pretty good.
